Lenora in ‘Fast Girls’

According to IMDb Lenora has joined the production of Fast Girls. Fast Girls is described as…

A group of British women athletes train to compete in the 2012 Olympic games in London.

This sounds very interesting and pre-production is starting on the film now with a tentative release date scheduled for 2012.

Also, I will be adding in Material Girl captures. I finally came across the show and I will be getting those up for you ASAP… I’m having a little trouble but rest assured I’ll figure it out and get those up for you in a jiffy!

Lenora joins BBC’s ‘Death in Paradise’

New project on the rise for Lenora. Being Human captures as well as another show of Lenora’s that I’ve stumbled upon will be up soon!

Stars including Lenora Crichlow and Hugo Speer have signalled up to appear in BBC One’s new play Death In Paradise.

The series focuses on a police detective who is sent to the Caribbean island of Sainte Marie and resolves offences with the help of local resident physician Camille.

Ben Miller and Sara Martins have already signed up for the trail offices in the drama.

The BBC has now declared that the abiding casting will include Crichlow, who plays Annie in Being Human DVD and Speer, who recently starred in Cuckoo’s nest.

Other stars who will appear in the show include Con’s Matt Di Angelo, former Spooks actress Miranda Raison and Neil Stuke, who was recently seen in the BBC’s legal dramatic play Silk.

Don Warrington, Sean Maguire, Nicholas Farrell, Frances Barber and Robert Pugh will also appear in the drama.

The show’s executive producer Tony Jordan, who has worked on programmes including Spirit On Mars and Hustle, has antecedently said that Death In Paradise will be a “existent delicacy” for viewers.

Filming for the show is due to begin next bound.

GREAT NEWS! ‘Being Human’ lands Fourth Series

The BBC has commissioned a fourth series of Being Human, which will air in 2012.

Last night’s series three finale picked up 1.05m viewers for BBC Three, according to overnight ratings, and the show was once again critically acclaimed.

The fourth run of Toby Whitehouse’s drama will apparently pick up with the aftermath of last night’s finale as the housemates return to Barry Island. There are also plans for further guest roles following the appearances of Lacey Turner and Robson Green during the recent run.

BBC Three acting controller Harry Lansdown said: “Being Human’s brilliant mixture of fantasy and everyday life continues to provide must-see, ground-breaking drama for BBC Three, and I’m delighted to announce a fourth series for 2012.”

Toby Whitehouse added: “We were overwhelmed by the response to series three, and so we’re absolutely thrilled that the BBC have given us this opportunity to continue our show into a fourth year.

“We’ve got another intense and epic story lined up for you, with some new faces and old, and even more horror and mayhem and mugs of tea. I can’t wait to get started.”

Series four, which was given the green light by controller of BBC drama commissioning Ben Stephenson, will include eight 60-minute episodes. [Source: DigitalSpy]

Series 3 Interview with Lenora

The BBC Press Office has released interviews with the cast about series three of Being Human. Some details are given away so if you don’t want to be spoiled don’t read on. Below is an extract from Lenora’s interview, the whole thing can be found on the BBC website

Will Annie’s rescue from purgatory show a different side to her this series?
Definitely. Annie’s done a 360. When we meet her in series three, she is much more empowered and secure – and I think that’s because the worst thing that could have happened to her has happened. She now has fearlessness about her and a real appreciation for everybody that is in her little life. We definitely see a different side to her this series – she has definitely grown.

Does Annie build a particular bond with anyone this series?
Yes. I think she’ll have a particular bond with Mitchell – he saved her, he is her hero – but that’s all I can say on that one! You do though get a hint of what may happen by the end of the first episode.

Aidan Turner hints more clearly at an Annie/Mitchell relationship. You can read his interview here

Being Human Series Three Update

The BBC has finally released a detailed description for the first episode of Being Human’s third series. The episode will air in the week of 22-28 January – when exactly is still unclear. Party of the press release can be read below:

But Annie, the ghost who has so far escaped the clutches of death in BBC Three’s hit drama Being Human, finds herself in even stranger surroundings at the start of the third series: trapped in purgatory, waiting to hear her fate. [...]

Mitchell, however, is finding it hard to settle in. He’s struggling with the guilt of his bloodthirsty revenge at the end of the last series, but – most importantly – he’s missing Annie.

Determined to get her back Mitchell enters purgatory, where he meets Lia. Though sweet and sparky, Lia lets Mitchell into a dark secret that threatens to haunt him day and night, and to tear his friendships apart…

I have also started adding screen captures of series two of Being Human to the gallery. So far only the first two episodes are available but the rest will be added shortly.
